The name comes from the Algar river, which ends in Altea. On its route, from the nearby Sierra de Ferrer, it stops at the well-known Fuentes del Algar. Threads of water in everlasting falls down the steep rocks. And thus, the white stripes of the 'Algar’, fall down the fabric barely separated from each other by five centimetres. This design, in double width, becomes a basic to filter and regulate the light coming in through your windows.
